The internationally renowned magazine Wine Spectator, headquartered in New York, has been one of the classics of the valuation of international wines since 1976 and, after professional research, also honors regions and companies worldwide that are excellent due to their quality and diversity.
In the latest ranking, the Hotel Steirerschlössl has been awarded with "2 glasses", and from now on it is officially allowed to count itself among the world's elite in terms of its wine resources in the hotel's own wine cellar.
The wine cellar presents itself cozy and stylish. Here thousands of noble bottles, both from Austria and from all over the world - selected by Balazs Kardos, sommelier of the Hotel Steirerschlössl with much knowledge and presented on many occasions and in the restaurant of the hotel.
With this great distinction the Restaurant Steirerschlössl is the first one in the south of Austria to be delighted about this badge and will be in the same ranking as the Palais Coburg and the Amador Restaurant from Vienna, the Griggeler Stuba and the Post Stuben in Lech am Arlberg, Der Kirchenwirt seit 1326 in Leogang and the Döllerer Genusswelten in Golling.
